Manager of Broadcasting and Media Relations

  • Lead play-by-play broadcaster for all regular and postseason games on the TJ Network (WTJS-FM) in Jackson and online via MiLB.tv and TuneIn Radio
  • In charge of broadcast production, including all dealings with flagship station, hiring board operators, creating and maintaining commercial logs, producing audio features and conducting daily interviews with players and coaches
  • Main media relations contact for the organization; Responsibilities include writing press releases and game recaps, design and production of daily game notes, updating the team’s website (jacksongeneralsbaseball.com) and social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Vine and YouTube) and dealing with local and national media
  • Assist sales and promotional staff in servicing clients and coming up with creative in-park ideas for the team

RANCHO CUCAMONGA QUAKES (California League), Rancho Cucamonga, CA — March 2014-September 2014
Broadcast and Media Assistant

  • Broadcasted parts of all home and road games for the Quakes on Fox Sports 1350 (KTDD-AM), edited audio features, commercials and bumpers using Audacity and Adobe Soundbooth
  • Media responsibilities included producing daily game notes, designing team program for each home stand using Adobe InDesign, assigning and making credentials, managing the team’s Twitter account, writing daily game recaps and updating the team’s website (rcquakes.com)

Broadcaster/Director of Media

  • Broadcasted all regular and postseason games for the Chatham Anglers online
  • In charge of media, which included team’s website (chathamanglers.com), YouTube, Twitter and Facebook pages
  • Helped start and maintain team’s SoundCloud page, which hosted all audio content online
  • Set up broadcast equipment, handled outside media requests and interviewed the team’s manager and players daily

Sports Director, Executive Producer, Anchor, Reporter

  • As Sports Director, was responsible for all aspects of SportsNight the station’s weekly sports show: assigning stories, directing crew, recruiting new members and ensuring the show aired as planned
  • Produced weekly 30-minute shows with Adobe ENPS; Also responsible for editing video and graphics
  • Reported packages and feature stories, which included interviewing, filming and editing with Adobe Premiere Pro
  • On camera experience as an anchor, live analyst and on-site stand-up
