About Me

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been calling games. At first, it was in front of the television at home. I would provide play-by-play for games on TV when I wasn’t listening to the likes of Vin Scully, Chick Hearn, Ralph Lawler and Bob Miller while growing up in Los Angeles.

That passion led me to Northwestern University, where I graduated with a degree from the Medill School of Journalism in 2014. I did work calling games and hosting shows on WNUR — the student radio station — and the Northwestern News Network, serving as the Sports Director for the latter. I called multiple games on the Big Ten Digital Network as well. While in school, I spent summers calling games and managing media for the Chatham Anglers of the Cape Cod Baseball League.

After graduating, I began my professional journey. My first job was with the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes, a Dodgers affiliate in the California League. I spent three years as the Manager of Broadcasting and Media Relations with the Jackson Generals, a Double-A team in the Southern League.

Now, I’m back in Southern California. I spent the 2018 and 2019 seasons as the Broadcasting and Media Relations Coordinator for the Lancaster JetHawks, Class A Advanced affiliate of the Colorado Rockies in the California League. I have also called men’s and women’s basketball for California Baptist University in Riverside, and I have worked a handful of Sierra Canyon High School basketball games for ESPN3.

I also have experience behind the scenes, working as both a producer and a writer at CBS Los Angeles, producing live segments for CBS 2 and KCAL 9.

Currently, I work as a producer at anchor at KNX Newsradio (1070 AM and 97.1 FM) in Los Angeles.
